Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

A friend and I got out for a few hours this morning....snow flurries falling and multiple species taking our minnow tipped popeye jigs fished at six feet in eight to ten feet of water

Thats nice of you Jack.......created another panfish monster.....LOL........Good for your friend, it's always exciting to me to get someone new into fishing.........tight lined alot as a kid but I most often use a float with almost every application I use now....

I took a fellow with me Saturday up to New Bern and taught him the basics of tightlining. He proceeded to keep 32 fish that day. He's hooked for life.

Thanks Jack......without a doubt all the rivers and creeks feeding the sounds in Eastern North Carolina should fish the same....I see Pamlico, Currituck and the Albemarle fishing the same.....

Nice slab. I think the Trent River fished very similarly to the Tank.
