Oh by the way Greg.....that fish is a hoss!! A monumental specimen!
Ben, your question about the teeth (pharyngeal plate) on a BG x RES hybrid has perplexed me for some time now. I can't seem to get a definitive answer from anyone I've asked. I think it may be time to put a Redear, and a Gillcracker under the knife, in the interest of answering this question..... I've never looked for the pharyngeal plate before, and might not recognize one if I could find it, but I'm going to try. I'll post the results here on BBG when I find out.
One of the FEW instances I was using FLOATING LINE, The fish were in the SHALLOW!!!!! The GILL had their BLACK FINS ON!!!!!! The LADIES were BIG WITH CHILD!!!!!!!
REX, MY ROD WAS FOLDED!!!!!!! IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Ben, I am not sure of the TEETH, need our RESIDENT BIOLOGISTS to weight into that!!!!!!
But what I can tell YOU, to PICK a BIG BLUEGILL or a REDEAR, and put them on STEROIDS!!!!!! ON a 2 WEIGHT FLY ROD it is a RIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
