Dick, The first clue was the FOLDING of my FLY ROD, was thinking I had a BIG REDEAR!!! The REDEAR FIGHT DIFFERENT than a BLUEGILL!!!! The HYBRID GILL CRACKER FIGHTS HARDER and DIFFERENT than the REDEAR!!!!! But of COURSE I learned the DIFFERENCE after joining BIGBLUEGILL, The  FOLKS on this SITE KNOW THEIR FISH, JIM GRONAW,  identified my first one I put up!!!!! I LEARN ALOT of STUFF on HERE from LOTS OF FOLKS!!!!!!

Greghopper what a great fish. It amazes me how you guy know you have hybrids. I never really think much about it probably cause I wouldn't know one if it looked me in the face. Anyway awesome fish.
