John, the jig I use is a RAG Fly jig 1/16 oz in a solid chartruse color. What I like is it has a plastic boby like a plastic worm with maribou feather tied on first. They are similar to the Hal Fly jig and these things do catch fish

Nice I'm still looking for this years first 12"er. What jig we talking about here Thomas and Dick? A white 32nd oz Bucktail jig with red Collar is my jig of choice usually .

Nice fish there Thomas. I see you got some white and black crappies and a couple nice gills. I like you little jig and the color is perfect that would be my color of choice.
