John- That Rapala loop knot is great, but for my old bad eyesight, especially when using hard to see 2 lb test line,  a simple double over-hand loop knot is all you need to use.  I've landed some very large bass and catfish with this knot, so it it very strong.

I think I have two skeeter spoons 32 oz. A worn red/white stripe thats mostly primer white now and a yellow 5 of diamonds . I have used them a little bit and they caught fish .

One more thing.  When you use this little spoon, uses very light line, 2 or 4 lb test and tie them on with a loose loop knot.  These little spoons are too tiny to use a snap swivel, and tied with a regular knot up tight to the spoon's line tie hole will hurt the action, plus cut into your line.  A loose loop will allow the lure to wiggle more freely and have better action.  If reeled back slowly, these spoons will not twist your line much at all.  A slow retrieve has the best action anyway...

Well, in the Dardevle catalog, the Skeeter spoon has two weight sizes, a "trout weight" 1/32 oz.,  and another one listed as 2/32 oz..  Not sure why they don't use the math and have it reduced down to 1/16 oz.?  I like the action of the lighter spoon, but I also like how I can cast the heavier soon out much farther, especially when I am shore fishing.  Both are the same size,  just one is stamped from a thicker gauge metal.  I have several of each weight I bought at Bass Pro Shops.  (You have to buy it from the actual store, it's not in their catalog.)

I was talking about using them for gills. I haven't seen the 64th sizes before. Well that's new.
