Do you love big bluegill?

1/16th ounce Cricket Spin and a 1/50th ounce Black and Yellow

Both real good RBS baits....

If you some of these or have some already David they have been working good......I got these in the Low Country at a local bait store in Goose Creek, S.C.

Have you found any cricket spins up your way John.....They work great sometimes you can't keep bass and crappie off of them long enough to catch a gill....LOL....The through legs make a difference in my opinion.......the added flutter sets the fish off....

I hear you Jeffrey .Yesterday I saw and bought for the first time, 1/24th oz Eagle Claw jigheads  .I may switch  them over on 32nd oz Beetle spins to see if I can get deeper for bigger fish .I'll have to see if they'll track ok with the extra weight.

I'm bad about buying the entire card when I find one I like John.....Always want to hae extras and these days baits come and go more rapidly than they use to........

Try a 1/32 oz Road Runner if you can't get the Beetle Spins.

I've been trying to find 16th oz Beetle spins but the two shops near me stock 32nd and 1/8 th oz .Maybe someone is beating me to the 16th oz and buying them all up.

I wouldn't go larger than 1/16 myself John.....my box is full of 1/32 and they work fine sometimes better....you never know what they want that day until you get on them.....

These are very popular in South Carolina....I've mainly found them in the mom and pop bait shops in South Carolina.....I'll try to find out the manufacturer and see if I can get a lead Vince......I buy them by the card when I find a color that works.....This one matches the color of the live crickets I tip with so it is very effective......All redbreasts aren't very big so the 1/50th works well on the smaller fish......I've never seen this style cricket spin and the big Outdoor Centers either Vince....

That cricket spin looks deadly. Where do you get them? I have not seen them at Wally World or Academy.

Next Time at the river I'll try these .I have 32nd oz though.
