With today's wind, I tied a couple of these on a white 1/32oz. jig heads. We will see what happens this afternoon.....

One like this worked on the Crappies last night. I had to make a minor adjustment to it as I had too much deer hair on it and it wouldn't hardly sink even with some wire wrapped around the hook near the eye. Less is better came into play here. A quick trim job on the water made this a usable fly.

I tied it using a #6  Eagle claw 186A hook, first I wrapped the hook with black ultra wire,  added deer belly hair, some yellow ice dubbing, and chartruse thread wound for the head.
