holy! 6 carp in one day that would be a personal record breaker. Must I have caught in one day is 2 and that's fishing for about 12-14hrs in the spring. Congrat's on catching carp in the winter man takes alot being out there in the teen temps. I agree haven't fished for carp since that year. It just take to much time but it's worth the wait. That was my wife's carp biggest fish of her life.

I love carp fishing! Just got into it last year, and did some during this mild winter as well. My friend Bob got 6 today at Lake Marburg, PA. Fish were in the high teens and he had one over 20 lbs. I've gotten four over 20 lbs this winter, but I have shifted gears to catch other species.

That 30 lber is a brute! Congrats!

I caught 30carp in 2week's time back in april 2010 and My wife caught 12 those 2week's also. All bread ball's dipped in honey was the bait. Wait time for each carp was 1hr and 30mins landing time's were between 25mins-1hr to bring in with 4-lbs and 6-lbs line using a Mirco Light spinning rod ultra-light.
