The mouth is too large for a Seed' or Gill, but the body is too "tall" for a GSF. The body markings and the yellow fins all hint at a hybrid of GSF x ??....

What markings make you think Pumpkinseed Leo? I'm really only familiar with BG, GSF and RES. Not sure what to look for in a Pumpkinseed.

You might be right. Should've gotten a better picture. What makes you think HBG? It was caught out of a lake that flooded from the Missouri River over the summer so I imagine it could have all sorts of possible genetics in it.
