It's a good idea David.....I have developed my techniques through experiment......When it works once, I try it again.....When it works twice, it's now tucked away in the Book of Knowledge as we called it back on the Subs....

And please what size hooks do you find are best on the 1/64 heads - #8? #10?

I wonder how they might behave if you cupped the nose of the shad darts? I gotta get some...

If I want to slow the fall David, I up size the soft plastic to adjust the rate to my liking....In shallow water these baits will get hit way before they settle out.........The little dart jig comes in handy for those conditions....

I do have to get me some shad dart jigs. They are the one sort I dont have.

You can see how I have cut down the 2 inch pink Sliders to support an excellent Bluegill bite this past week......I like the little 1/64 ounce dart jig for a slow fall in those shallow water applications to not spook fish that can be caught.......
