Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

We caught all kinds of bluegill but the few crackers we caught out weighed them all. This one was 10 1/2 inches.

I was drop shooting earth worms about 6 inches off the bottom. We were catching them from 2 to 4 ft deep.

"Before the restructuring, a non-resident all-species annual fishing license cost $42. The restructuring moved it up to $76. Now, the NRC has decided to lower the cost to $68 starting on March 1.

The DNR is hoping that more people will come fish in Michigan because of the lower-cost licenses -- an addition by subtraction goal."

Good news Dick they are lowering the price of out of state license

Don't worry slip at the rate of the out of sate license They should have enough money to stock all the Michigan lakes 2 times a year talk about rip off.

Always a nice bonus to catch. I just put 50 4 to 6 inchers in my pond today along with 30 lbs of minnows and 25 4 to 6 inch bluegills. Hoping one day this pond will take off.
