Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The wind was pretty horrendous .Didn't really need that wire guard on this big bladed bait but was glad to see it didn't hinder it's action any .Nabbed a17" Pickerel on the last day of March .

Just trying to make sure my brain is still working properly. Got nailed in the head a few times last night, practicing with kids in the dusk. Should have known better than to face pitchers without lighting, and a full skull protection as a catcher.

Thanks for keeping an eye out Carl! You're a pal! The color shown is what I want ,or close . Larry Dahlberg in an old In-Fisherman video got me going on these .He did a Smallmouth Video where he was putting them on 1/8th and 1/4 oz. or so jig heads and nailing smallies in the shallows ,in  New England lakes with them .  The spinner bait trailer adaptation was something i came up with this year and it payed off a little. Need to find my  Kennedy 1/2 dollars! I do have SBA dollars ,aint worth squat ,no?
