Jim is right guys.......I most often employ modern telescopic poles some rigged with reels from the B & M line or Mr. Crappie series........when I pick up a rod and reel it's spin casting gear with 10 pound test line or larger because of the abundant predator count..........I fish tannic waters with little to no visibility so line size is not critical and I tip because I often wonder how colors are seen in this environment.........years of trial and tribulations have taken me to gear I use.............

Jeffrey...I forgot...were you using the Zebcos when I was down last October for casting to the structures?
