Do you love big bluegill?

Great fish, and glad you released it. I wish more would do the same,

That's great you released it.  It's a tough call when you get a really big fish.  To get it verified, you almost have to kill the fish.  You took a measurement, plus you have an awesome photo, so you did the right thing.  The cool thing is- you or some other lucky angler has a chance of catching it again next year when it might be 18 inches!

If you do have a replica made, contact me first.

Jeff, the crappie is still swimming to be caught another day. I would love to have a replica made of it someday.

Beautiful fish!  Did you keep it?  Please tell me you are having a mount made of it.  Does that place keep any records for large fish caught?  I was lucky to catch a giant one too recently that I wish I would have kept to get weighed and verified at my local lake.  People say it may have been a lake record.
