Michael, what model camera? I just got my first digital camera, a great deal on a discontinued Canon Powershot A590IS which I used to take the photo of the alligator on this site but because of a bad back, have not been able to really use it to take fishing pics. I have had serious Nikon slr equipment for many years but I am just getting into digital. You and I know that good pics are 90% photographer skill and 10% equipment but I am still curious whenever I see great results. Thanks.
Thanks guys
Fish, i just use a cheap digital camera. the secret is take lots of pics and sort through them. then I use my photo editor to crop, brighten and clear them up.
First off, Michael, your fish photos are absolutely gorgeous ! Now, being that I'm into photography pretty heavily myself, I "totally understand" that often, the specific camera has so little do with great photos, and the "photographer" has SOOO much to do with it ! (otherwise, it would be like assuming a guy catches a lot of great fish, all because of the rod he uses ;-)
That said, I still have to ask what camera you are using ? I mean, is it a DSLR ? And if so, what lens ? Those shots are just uber sharp ! And unreal detail !
It's not often I get envious over fish photos, but geeez ! These are just some of the best I've seen.
