My new best friend Ed put me onto some great fish tonight at his favorite pond.

Adam...that's exactly what I thought when I hooked and landed this fish. It was pale and very thin compared to the others and didn't put up much of a fight at all. I've caught big crappie that have fought harder. This fish is certainly past her prime and losing, rather than gaining weight.

Amazingly, this fish was almost as long as the larger bass, coming in at a little over 21 inches.
