Thanks, guys! I only got two hybs this day, but this one was actually the first fish of the morning!

Yes, it's a private pond that has tons of little bass, a few decent crappie, a couple big channel cats and of course, these tanker hybrids fro two separate stockings.

Happy Birthday, Mr G.

Got me a little UL Shakespeare, too, which I imagine is similar to yours. It's a Sigma 2000, I think. $10 off ebay, with the matching Microlite rod.

Helluva a fattie you got there, too. Another private pond prize?

Nice birthday!

Good hybrid, Jim. Oh yeah, I still remember what being 60 was like. The pond I caught my first hybrid out of had about 25 steps leading down to it, and I was sucking wind hauling my gear back out of there in 95 deg. heat.  Happy Birthday!

Thanks, guys!

Jacob...that's a little Shakesphere UL...I'd run out to the truck and check it out for you, but it's getting late and I'm just lazy!

Happy Birthday Jim. That is quite a fish! You're beating my dad by 7 months in age. Is that a mitchell avocet reel by the way?

A couple years ago, Condello said I didn't look a day over 59!

Or...was it 49?
