Do you love big bluegill?

Hurricane Sandy has went on her way....how long will it take us to return to normal on the local rivers......Hopefully I'll get back on some gills this weekend......

I rode around last evening and things appear to be in pretty good shape....a few creeks are a bit stained from a foot of rain and the associated runoff but she will clear back off quickly in the days to come and hopefully I can find a hungry gill or two over the weekend.....

Beautiful setting. Perfect to drive the fish nuts to feed after the crazy event like Sandy.

Thanks Tooty...normally it's hot and humid after a hurricane but not this one....it was in the 40s today with wind and rain still in Virginia...a sign of things to come I'm sure!
