Do you love big bluegill?

Me and dad

I really miss my long time fishing buddy who taught me so much about fishing and the outdoors since I was a little kid. Dad and I fished all over Mexico, Canada, Alaska and the lower 48. It's been almost a year now since Barney left us, and fishing is not the same without him.

Lee that fish is a saltwater bass, one of the tree types we normally catch here in southern California and Mexico. It's a Spotted Sand Bass, found mostly in harbors and bays, so many people call it a Spotted Bay Bass. They get up to about 3 pounds or so. Super fun to catch on light tackle and bass lures. Really are strong fish.
