Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

A nearly 15 inch Bluegill! This giant was caught from a farm pond in Page County, Iowa, on a spinnerbait while bass fishing. Didn't get a weight on this beautiful trophy fish. This beautiful fish was mounted by expert taxidermist Jimmy Lawrence from Bedford Iowa.

Well Tim, you never know.  The past California State Record BG of over 3 lbs. was caught out of a small private community pond that you could almost cast across, so who knows.  Richman Mills is also not very big...

Really Jeff?  Farm pond?  Maybe when it was 10 inches.

You gotta love the fish tales.

Nice recreation Jimmy!
