Art and John try to catch Catfish and don't, then do

At an undisclosed location John meets Arty at the boat ramp. Plan 1:While 4 lines are out with worms and hot dog pieces with hopes of lunker channel cats ,John gets greedy and begins to throw a black midsized Jitterbug in the dark .After 5th cast or so a 3 LB.Smallie is netted. The next cast produces a 16" or so LMouth.
Catfish dont hit and after 1st light plan2: Trolling Shad Rap takes two White Perch. plan3:
concentrate on worming and topwater for Bass.Arty turns what I believe was a 17 " Lmouth but it escapes.John flails water with wacky worm but the previously hooked bass laughs at him.
Men find a black Jitterbug in the tree just like the one that caught the 1st 2 bass.
One bass is caught on the 5" Watermelon/Red Flake Yum worm.
Plan 4:Hoping for Bluegills and Perch worm pieces get stolen from spoon but drifting 1/2 crawlers and hot dog pieces schools of White Perch are contacted suspended over 13 ' of water 30 fish are caught .5",7" 10-11" classes. Many following fish accompany the hooked ones. One 17" or so Smallie followed up a hooked WPerch.

Plan 5 worming throwing Spinners and cranks to shady wind blown side of lake on the way back to ramp .Arty catches 17" Bass on size 4 Mepps spinner.

Different story on 8-26 ...chummed with two cans of cat food mixed with flour and using a spackle knife flicked out into water in two installments ... two 24" and two 28"Channel Cats 'tween 6-9pm ...Hot dogs/Liver /kidney combos.
10/11/10 Channel catting .Hotdogs/Chicken liver combo.Caught a 26" ,6lb.14oz.and a 29",10lb.Arty got a yellow BHead and a 2Lb .Channel
