I hear you Dick.....but Jim's Hybrid would eat this one! LOL......There's big coppernose in the Little River but I didn't come across one today Jim.....All fish were 7 to 9 inches...little fish have to hide in these waters with all the big predators.....

I picked up 32 at a public lake yesterday and I didn't have a 7 incher in the batch. This particular lake has been empty of big gills since the mid 1990's...I believe as a result of overharvest of the largest gills in the system.

With the exception of just a couple fish of ten inches during last weekend Jim.....fishing was a little slower yesterday but it rebounded today but high end fish were 9 inches....most were 7 to 8 inch gills......I just sized down my pole to a ten footer and the fun was on.....

Jeffrey...with the exception of todays hybrids, most of my gillage lately is made up of smaller fish...you. too?
