I just have to figure out how to catch it again and keep the blue heron away. Lol

The pale color on this male is likely due to very green water in my pond, visibility is currently less than 12". This RES is likely pellet trained, or possibly dining well on young of the year golden shiners. I also caught a 10" RES shortly before this one, both were caught on micro jigs and a small piece of night crawler under a bobber. This is the largest RES I have caught from the pond since it was stocked.
