Thanks guys. The reel is a Gander Mtn. GSX tournament model from a few years ago. I got this combo 3 or four years ago and it's starting to wear out a bit now. My buddy works at Gander Mountain and said they switched manufacturers last year and the quality isn't the same. The reels like this one were engineered by Pflueger, not sure who makes their new ones.
