The current Missouri state record (caught by my buddy B Longo on 6/2/07) is 8.5 inches and 11 ounces. I had caught one that we didn't have certified the week before that was 9.25 inches and HAD to be a pound...wish I'd have kept it. You can see the picture of it on my photo page.

I didn't have a scale with me. Incidently, the photographer of this picture is the current Missouri state record holder for longears (Brian Longo).
