Brian;; I have been using a dropper rig myself lately. a chartuse popper; with black hackle; yellow feathers;; and a black spider. I have tried a lot of different types of baits; but so far; this one for me;; has been really good!! in fact;; its beat every other type of bait I have!!

Carl, most of the bigger hybrids we get in the spring come on a #8 olive woolly bugger stripped in slowly, but this one came on a #12 flashback pheasant tail fished under a Betts popping bug. Got several doubles with this rig and it is deadly in the right circumstances.
