This was a surprise fish. I've seen them cruising, but I've never had one bite. Pretty fun fight on light tackle.

Thanks guys. No idea on the weight John. I saw a couple other ones cruising that were bigger than this fish. Wasn't trying to catch them, but it would have been neat if they decided to bite. Jim, there are some quillbacks in this stream, I've never caught one but every now and then a class electroshocks one, but never got one in any of my classes.

Great sucker! Did you get a weight and Length? It's like a club! I once got a 22 " White Sucker that I wish I weighed! Got it on a jig tipped with a crawler piece.
