Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Was very proud of this fish! It was caught early spring 2015 and was my first deep water jig fish ever! My goal in the off-season was to learn how to fish a jig deep. And on my 2nd or 3rd trip of the year I hooked this big girl!
For the rest of the year you couldn't stop me from throwing a JIG!

I've spent the entire winter watching videos by Flukemaster, Mike Iaconelli, Bass Resource, KayakBassinTV and many others learning how to fish jigs, chatter baits, flukes, dropshots, Texas and Carolina rigs, etc. I hope I'm half as successful as you've been once the season starts up here in NJ. It's right around the corner. Can't wait. Good job, Andre.

@John I would say right around 20inches.  It weighed in at 4 pounds and that usually equals close to 20 inches

Andre, if you had to guess length would you say 20" ?
