They fight a lot harder than blue gill yes I tipped the jig with a mealworms for the 11 inch fish .i had taken the float off and was just casting and slow retrieve

Slip, I do believe Chuck tried using a micro-jig under a float. I know that the jig in this fish's mouth is one that I tied for him. Not sure if he tipped the jig or not.
