Do you love big bluegill?

Caught at Lake Norris in Illinois---13.5 inches weight unknown comment and make a guess for me...it was over 32 ounces...Also check out the front chest view of this monster hog!!!

This was caught on a night crawler in agout 15 feet of clear water. Lake Norris is a highly unique 33 acre lake that is on TOP of a hill that was once used to clean coal. Essentially this is a carbon filtered 33 acre groundwater source aquarium!!! It is up to 51 feet deep and all depths are naturally oxygenated.

The lake is stocked with Native Bluegill, Hybrids Bluegill, RES, SMB, LMB, WE, Crappie, 1000's of Hybrid Stripers, several trout species, Muskie, Pike, Pumpkin Seeds, GSF, Yellow Perch, Golden Shiners, Fathead minnows....you name it, it's probably there. And they all live year round here.

13.5 inches?!!!....impressive....I'd have to say 2.5 lbs easy....very thick and with a breast plate like Hulk Hogan!
