I don't feature many "non-bluegills"...but this fish is absolutely spectacular!!!!  Unreal.

That's a brute! caught my first smallmouth a few years back and they sure put a bend in the rod.

Hi Jim,

That Smallmouth was caught and released in April of 2008. Q Res in Massachusetts. 58 degree water, third day of a three day warming trend.  6 lb. Excalibur line, super fluke Jr.  6' of  clear water, watched her chase and eat the bait.  I had a fiberglass replica made.
