...thanks John!... from natural lakes as little as 50 acres to reservoirs just under the 2000 acre mark.

my favorite lake is the reservoir approaching the 2000 acres... when I first fished this lake back in the late 80's with my father in law we both agreed never to fish this lake again because of the skunkings we were handed. Now I live next to it!

over time I just got to know the lake very well. now with my history of the lake year to year... I now have a jump start on them it seems.

Interesting statistics on this year’s Trophy tags are:

  1.  (14) out of (16) fish are tagged from public waters eligible for DNR Certificates.
  2. I) tag away from 2017’s totals of 15 for the year
  3.  (15) out of 16 fish were tagged on micro-jigs and the Micro-Jig Method.
  4. 1) fish was tagged on the slip/float/Spring Cricket Fly/Waxie Method
  5. 15/16 fish tagged tipping GULP Waxies
  6.  Big fish like tiny baits (Channel Cats length 29.5”)
