Tied up some Guide's Choice Hare's Ear nymphs. Basically a soft hackle version of a GRHE. I used Fl. Fire Orange thread, so I got a nice orange hotspot on the bead when I whip-finished. I also changed the pattern; the original pattern calls for a thick, short tail of Hare's Mask fur. I when with a thing, longer tail of partridge fibers.

Carl, lately I've been tying flies in lots of 6. The worst two go into my boxes, while the best four of the batch end up going down to OK to a buddy of mine.
