thanks guys... actually Dick we tag probably 10 b.gills to 1 p.seed.... most of them tagged avg above the 8" mark... lucky to have an environment to grow good sizes to this species.
Nice seed Ken your lake must have quit a few in it.
Sweet looking fish !
TK... i agree they do resemble the GULP Minnow... and i do like the GULP as baits and have had some great productivity with them.
hey Slip them are the ones i was looking at in the link they look just like the gulp minnow ...
riverman... sounds like a nice application for the bait... i'll be trying that on the slip/floating next season!
YW TinKnocker... i was at my phone earlier and had a hard time finding the link on the EBAY app... now im at my computer ... for those interested it is sold at
http://www.ebay.com/itm/371673359309?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&a...
i just discovered there is a 1" version also... i will be ordering some within the next few days... should be great for ice fishing
I fish the Lil Minnow as shown here, plus another way that works well. I use a small weighted float, a #8 hook with NO jig head. The Lil Minnow sinks weightless down real slow, from just the weight of the hook. The bluegills can't stand it...
i found them Slip thank you
