I've got that on my phone.  I was using it yesterday while I was there.  I had originally thought it was about 2 miles from launch to fishing area, but right now it's more like 1.6 miles.  I'll have to do a "trolling path" to figure out the distance, most likely.

did you know you can measure distance on the "Fishing Points App"... and now you can mark way points on the good spots.

There are multiple lakes with the same name here in MI.  There's probably 5 or 6 "Mud Lakes" just in my county!  There's also a lot of "Goose Lakes", and at least two "Portage Lakes", if not more.

I know there is a Williams lake in Oakland county I thought that was the one you were talking about.

Actually, I went west!  The launch is a little over a mile from home.  This particular lake is a little over half-way to my job.  I've driven by this lake several times, thinking about how to access it from the road.  It wasn't until I was looking at the Fishing Points app on my new phone that not only could I access it from a public spot, but I was already planning on hitting it!

Looks like you drifted east a little Allen. Looks like a nice body of water don't have any idea of the fishing pressure. I don't see any cottages that could be a plus for weekday fishing.
