20150818-todays plan started out as a wading fly fishing session in the skinny water… but my spine would not let that happen today. So I fiddled with some of my rigs especially the rig throwing the ice braid of 2-0# test. I stepped that up from 4-6’ spinning rod to a 5-6’ spinning rod and this needed to be tested. I took a short walk to Wixom lake and pitched jigs along the heavy weed edges. Bingo! A few short crappies from 9-11” still a nice showing for the middle of the day ad just a few short minutes!
