20150628-WIXOM LAKE... slow bite
20150628-Wixom Lake… took the kayak out for a short session in the late p.m. The solid rip-rap pattern I’ve been exploiting has diminished to one dink 6” class gill. All the rest of the fish caught today were found on deeper weed edges now that the weeds have now established a solid foothold. One notable P’Seed at 8” class all the rest of the B’Gills were between 7 and 8”inches. Gulp Alive Waxies on slip bobbers. Since I was limited to a kayak I was unable to scan large areas of weedy deep flats for fish quickly as if I was in the jon boat.
