20150524 - WIXOM LAKE slow fishing but see improvement

20150524-Wixom Lake … the fishing at the bridge is now showing some recovery after the cold front or should I call it a polar vortex came storming through the 19th with a 30 degree drop in temperature… brutal. I tried to fish it every day through that even for just a few minutes and felt just overwhelming negative fish response or absenteeism. Fished this spot for four years and I have never experienced such a negative response to a cold front. I experienced it. I went out and fished it and im posting these meager results. How else is a fisherman to grow and realize his full potential?

Those that have been following know i am without a boat while my car is undergoing some major repairs and know i am restricted to shoreline fishing for a time. Sure it’s a good spot but to catch large numbers of fish from a small area is not in the play as of now. I am just as happy to be able to physically be able to still participate and be in the game.

So the results for the day are small in size and small in number. A handful of crappies under nine with nine being tops a lolely perch and a small rock bass.

For this log to have any meaning at all I post the shortcomings as well as the successes.
