20150428-WIXOM LAKE am-One mid 20s pike and no panfish around
20150428-Wixom Lake … Northern Pike are still working the area … once the SMB and the LMB start moving in the bigger panfish bite follows. This is one of the reasons why I’m always testing a swim or fishing area for preds. One little pike today on the 5” Jacks Worm a great bait for most any preds in my area including large Rock Bass. Water temp at 49 degs. Brrrr
No panfish in the area scowered the area with dropshot w/nightcrawler bits and jigs... nothing.
i may have better luck fishing the smaller shallower natural lakes in the area
