this is my proto type dragon fly.the colors are what i had on hand.the body is a silicone tube,made from silicone caulk and dubbing spun on a needle.it is wrapped  with with some thin mylar tinsel.it is soft and squishy but will return to shape.i have to see if a fish will hit it and whether the hook is the right one.i think it will be a nightmare to cast tho

i have been making bodies of all kinds by coating a needle with silcone caulk and embedding and wrapping different materials into it.one dry they are slid off the needle and form a flexible hollow body.if you pinched the tail it feel ;ike a bug.the wings are cellophane burnt on the edges .it should hold up to the fish but might be hell to cast.
