Beautiful fish Leo.........

It's a unique adaptive method I've found quite useful during very windy day, or trolling on the float tube. Just enough to create a fast sink rate, yet, maintain a natural quick sinking/drowning victim that entice the fishes.

Jim, thanks for the input on the fish. Not too familiar with all the panfish species yet. So many variation. The 1/16oz sliding weight (two actually) create a fast descent for the jig with a cricket/worm bait after I detect a target fish on the fish finder. Since these fishes get chased by larger game fishes, best to move in quickly before another predator jumps on them.

Excellent, heavy fish. Like Mr Soto. I believe the fish to be a female coppernose.

What's up with the weight above the jig?
