My wife is fine with handling fish and bait, although she hasn't learned any fishing knots and gets bored pretty quickly unless the action is fast. My daughters are the same way. I'm the only one in the family who will work all day to catch a single fish and even if I should fail in that pursuit and come home skunked, will stay say I had a good day.

good luck, my woman never wants to touch any fish or bait. much less tie knots. some how she expects all the fish to bite at the moment she picks, not to quickly and not to slow. more trouble than it was worth but i get a lot of use out of the fishing stuff i bought for her lol .
