...thanks Jeff... purpose of the trip was diagnostics on the sonar... will be going on my third unit!... couldn't resist throwing down a jig when i spotted some tight schools... bite was way off according to the number of fish spotted on the sonar... probably one more trip in before i winterize the boat... the juice isn't worth the squeeze at these temps.

felt goood with some solid fish pull at the end of the line... couldn't tag a b.gill... was frustrating!

kept 10 for a couple dinners... love them in these cold temps.

Nice work Slip......we have been catching a bunch in this slot down east Carolina.......good eating slot but we are eager for the big girls to move in and provide that slab crappie excitement..........but I love catching crappie period........good times
