HEY ALLEN : MINI CLAUSERS ? THAT HAS ME THINKING AGAIN!!!!!! THIS winter will have to try some and see what they look like.........

I know pink crappie jigs are kind of a "go-to" color at my home lake for the local Crappie, as that bait shop sells the "rosey red" minnows.  I've tied a few crappie jigs with pink, but haven't fished them yet.  Might have to.  Might have to try tying up some mini-Clousers and incorporate some pink into the mix as well.

Merry Christmas to me.........

GEES EVERYBODY , I'M THANKFUL FOR ALL THE COMPLIMENTS!!!! Yup Jeffrey you are right I have done more with pink this year , THAN ALL MY PREVIOUS 25+ YEARS IF TYING .

Never thought of myself as inpserational Vinvce, but thanks I appreciate it. I mean this in all respect also that there are MMMMMMMMany tiers on here that I wouldn't be qualified to carry their tying gear for em . NOT ME OF COURSE but there are truely some masters on here and they inspired me this year, and it has been a learning experience for me . I really haven't advanced my skills much this year but my horizons have been broadened by Jeffrey with color combos and so forth.
Rick King is a good example of someone who hadn't tied in years and now is back into it in a good way and doing fabulous work and experimenting on his own. He has gone far in my estimation.

Wish I had a local tying shop around here so I could pic the brains of some of the old timers , but we don't so I just watch on here. JEN NAY FLY JEDI MASTER, AND A" GEEZERETTE", herself has inspired me alot. Rex does absolutely fabulous work , GREG HOPPER . THIS IS BY FAR just a short list of folks I watch all the time and what about DIck Tabbert , having to tear down every holiday and put all the gear away and haul it back out again in a few days, that is truely DEDICATION!!!!

YUP RICK I hope Jeffrey and his dad do well this coming spring also and hopefully I'll be there myself.......

Tooty just responded to his customer's requests Vince....He's probably done more with pink this year than ever before!....The potential this box has in my region of the country is unlimited....It's very exciting to have proven techniques, yet experimentals to take into another great Bluegill fishing year....These guys under a float come late March will be explosive.......

As I was looking at your fly box Tooty, the pink panther theme started playing in my head! Seriously, I know from Jeffrey's pics and posts the power of pink in his tannic waters. Great looking box of fly's you have tied. Thanks for the pic, as it inspires me to try and improve my tying skills!!!!!
