Hey Larry, I tie the tail on and then put the flame on it. JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJust the very tip of the chenille buddy. Yup I agree on the clarity since the Zebra Mussels came into the great lakes etc. If you go back through my pics you'll see the results of both the blue and white streamers for crappies and the Blue micros for crappie and gills' at Kent's pond this past summer and fall. I"m a DDDDDDDDDEFINATE BLUE FAN NOW and have been since my eldest son turned my onto the color a couple years ago. Yellow was always a favorite of mine for Red Ears in Iowa and Southern Illinois . Caught lllllllllots of fish on yellow in the past.......

THANKS Larry and wish it was my idea , but that credit goes to SIr Rex!!!!! Ya know I personally had mixed results here with the Pink this year , but didn't start using em till Fall . I did however catch lots of fish on combo's of blue and white etc. this fall. Jeffrey is fishing entirely different water than me also and I"m sure the color is great for the natural food in the water there , which is grass shrimp apparently.........

HEY LARRY, ALLEN MORGAN IS exactly right . The tail is made of Micro Chenille and touch a flame to it to seal it and keep it from unraveling. I saw it on one of Rex's ties I believe and employed to my bugs. I called em Rat Tails cause they look like Muskrat tails to me. Yup I have been busy Larry but it's about RELAXATION TIME NOW till about January 2nd for me now. I think Sir Jeffrey will be slaying gills again come spring and Pink is his favorite color for the inky water in North Carolina. This particular color of New Age Chenille that I use is called Polar Shrimp and I also use another color for him called Shell Shock Pink. I get all this stuff from Anglers Workshop in Woodland Washington.........

I think it's chenille that been kissed with a flame to keep it from unraveling.

Thanks everyone for the compliments , I appreciate it much. Dick the little tail sticking out is pink ultra chenille that you burn the end of so it doesn't fray. Wasn't my idea it was copied from someone else on here and never thought of it before. Wish I could remember who did it and it may have been Rex, or one of the other greats on here . Wish I could remember but my mind is gone!!!!!!!! I see so much insperational stuff on here and try to employ the ideas when I can for my bugs . These also have Silver and Red krystal flash for tails and thought if one color is good two should be better!!!!!

  thanks again buddy......
