Hey Tim!  I have actually not gotten to it .  As with most personal projects, they start out with the best intentions, and then never get finished.  That's why  I usually have other talented artists, such as yourself do personal fish for me, that way  I make sure they're going to get done.  I haven't even been on this site in a year hahahaha.

This fish is still wrapped up in a wet towel, and frozen.  A local guy barely beat my record last year, and I have that one to mold also.  Which is kinda cool . I caught the state record pumpkinseed the same year, and haven't done it either.  I need to have you do a hybrid or a crappie for me soon.  Maybe in the next month or 2 I can place an order.

Way to go Jimmy, congrats!  I know this is a year old (I just now stumble upon this post) but, it's such a unique and cool looking fish.

I hope you catch my comment and was wondering if you preformed your talented skills on such a worthy specimen?

If so,  I'm sure all would be honored to see a picture of it.   Thanks in advance.

Tim

I took a bunch of pics right after I caught it with it still on my line. Then took it in a cooler to be weighed on certified scales. Video recorded the entire weighing process, with witnesses. Took the live fish to be measured and properly identified by the fisheries technician and got a bunch more pictures of it. I didn't release it. I kept it to mold it. The mold will provide excellent blanks for it so that no others that size or wanted that size need to be killed. A necessary sacrifice to me. Very happy an honored. Truly pleased with it. Such amazing fish.
