Good luck Paul......many of us are chomping at the bit to get on the gills.....We're getting very close here, a little rain from the same system dumping on you guys and then after a mild Saturday we get a week of milder nights and highs in the mid to high 70s.......it should be touch and go this weekend and start getting real good late next week!

Torrential rains here last few hours, waterways should be chuck full.. Fishing should be better tomorrow .... To rods! To rods! The Gills are a coming !!!

Thanks Mike and Tooty.....With a North Carolina limit of twenty I like to keep close tabs...can happen real quick during the Spring bite.....I also keep detailed records so I actually have multiple counters to track different species....April can be unique in that a Crappie, Bass, and Sunfish limit are not out of the question on a given trip..We are very close to being engaged fully, a couple mild nights from really going places....
