i really hit the pumpkinseeds hard this summer after finding that distinct pattern of transition between hard rocky bottom and soft bottom weed line. that depth sounder really helped me out with that creating bottom composition and weedline maps... awesome tool.
im a year and a half of also focusing on gills larger than the 10'" mark. i feel like im closing in on this.
