Wow, what a monster! I see how it looks like a hybrid with those bars/spots that go halfway up the fish

It's just that the mouth seems to be quite forward facing...and small.

 i think it"s a redear just a unique color,have seen lakes that have that all the fish have that emerald shading to them

NO MATTER WHAT IT IS IT'S A BIG UN and appears to me to be a Red Ear. The ones I caught in Iowa in years past all looked like this.......JUST NOT THIS BIG!

The more I look at this fish, the more I think it could be a hybrid.  Commentary?

The more I look at this fish, the bigger it gets. That's a monster cracker Federico and it looks THICK.
