Tooty looking at your collection or your sons I know you take it very serious and its so nice to see so many lures not tossed along the wayside, the ones that helped to start the fishing craze and made it what it is today. I have a few lures but nothing to rival what you and son have and I know you take it serious as your flies and rod building and know you have many hours of enjoyment doing it and the person receiving them many hour of enjoyment using them. I personally can tell you making rods you can get lost in it and there is so much more to it than just putting it together I've done a few but nothing like you. I've tied jigs for years for friends and just gave them to them because fishing the Maumee River it tends to eat them up left and right fishing for walleye's. But I enjoyed doing it and it was no problem getting lost doing so and I know what you mean when I say getting lost. Now you got me started making flies and I'll admit it relieves tension and a great mind relaxer and God knows I sure needed that. You are a Remarkable Vintage Serious Fella who I'm glad I've had the privileged of knowing either through corresponding through BBG or just talking over the phone and that means so much to me and I know others. Keep wrapping and tying and just being you. LOL
